Got the taco dinner the food was so good! Taco meat was very tender as well! The portion sizes are so large definitely worth the price!
This place is has great authentic Mexican food and their prices are very economical. The amount of carnitas was overflowing out of the burrito.
This is Taqueria Amigo Chino 2 (TAC2) is on the SE corner of Lawerence Ave & Austin. I asked the woman working there & she told TAC2 has been here for about 3 years. Before Kenny's use to be located here. I use to go to Kenny's they had an awesome skirt steak, eggs & hash browns before they moved across the street to the tiny little triangular building, which housed Kenny's. While the building is still there unfortunately Kenny's is now long gone). (Great Skirt steak breakfast) TAC2 is the sister restaurant to TAC on the corner of Central & Irving Park. They both have the same great deal on Al Pastor Tacos on Monday & Thursday for $1.59 @ TAC & $1.50 @ TAC2. I have been to TAC before many times. Today was my first time going to TAC2. TAC2 is actually slightly closer to my house then TAC. Sorry to say I think TAC's tacos are slightly bigger & have a better taste as the have pieces of pineapple mixed w/the carnitas. Still TAC2 has a pretty good taco FYI as I was leaving I noticed a sign that said they have parking in the back. Not too shabby 6 tacos for less then $10 including tax. I gave an extra $2 tip so 6 tacos for $12 - $2/taco
